HERE IS THE EVER SO POPULAR AND EXCEEDINGLY RARE WATERMAN #20 FOUNTAIN PEN CIRCA 1913 BY THE WATERMAN IDEAL PEN COMPANY OF NEW YORK. THIS HUGE PEN WAS THE LARGEST REGULARLY PRODUCED PEN MADE BY WATERMAN. SPORTING A HUGE VERY FLEXIBLE #10 SIZE WATERMAN 14KT NIB IT WAS RUMORED TO HAVE BEEN MADE TO SATISFY THE NEED FOR A LARGER PEN THAT COULD EASILY BE HANDLED BY A GLOVED HAND OF INDUSTRIAL WORKERS AND SPECIFICALLY RAILROAD ENGINEERS. THIS PEN IS AN EYEDROPPER FILL AND MADE FROM SMOOTH BLACK HARD RUBBER. THE HUGE #10 WATERMAN IDEAL NIB IS AN EXTRA FINE POINT AND IS VERY FLEXIBLE. THE CAP SPORTS A WIDE GOLD FILLED BAND THAT DOES COVER AND SOLIDLY REPAIRED CAP LIP CRACK. THE HARD RUBBER HAS SUPERB BLACK COLOR AND HAS BOLD BARREL IMPRINTS, THERE ARE NO HEAVY MARKS OR WEAR TO PEN.
